Not enough people know about life saving skills

18/07/2024 @ 8:00 AM - 31/08/2024 @ 11:30 PM

Summer 2024

Not enough people know about life saving skills- this is your chance to help change that.

1 in 10 people in the UK survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. A cardiac arrest is the ultimate medical emergency. NCDC with support of Karbon Homes local Community Fund are aiming to equip local groups and residents in and around Haltwhistle and surrounding Parishes with the confidence and ability to save a life. We are delighted that Dee Monk as a local leading Registered Senior Advanced Care Practitioner will be delivering this basic lifesaving training programme for Village Halls, community groups, Parish Councils, residents of all ages, mums, dads, grandparents, retirees, volunteers, employee’s employers and more. The training will cover understanding of basic life saving techniques, how to perform CPR, how to request, locate and use a public access defibrillator (PAD) increase confidence to act in an emergency.

If you have a group or are an individual that would like to put on or attend this free basic lifesaving course for more information.  Call or text NCDC

Annette 07968229767 or Email  annetteg@ncdc.org.uk

Every person trained is a potential life saved.
