Thank you so much for being able to provide
funding for our team building Zumba night through NCDC for Shaftoe Young
Farmers Club on Monday evening. It was a fantastic evening and for us as a
young community it’s great to be able to positively encourage physical activity
to those who would usually not give something new a try. We had 21 members
attend of which 3 of those were new to the club so not only did we all have a
great night, it encouraged new members to join and gave the perfect
activity to bring us all together as a club which can sometimes be difficult
for young members on their first night with us.
In addition to being a great team building exercise for us it has also provided
support to Adam Murray who was our instructor for the evening. Adam (18) is one
of our own members who has quite recently began his own business venture into
fitness instructing, and by giving him the opportunity to instruct our class,
he has gained at least 3 new members at his weekly Zumba class at Allendale
Village Hall.
Thank you again for being able to support us with this fantastic team building
activity and we hope we can be involved with some of your future training and
development activities.
