Emergency First Aid At Work

Emergency First Aid At Work

In response to community need Northumberland Community Development Company (NCDC) held an Emergency  First Aid At Work one day course at Sinderhope on 24th January.

Our trainer Alistair Myers from North Pennines Training led the group through practical and written assessments. This full day course is accredited and we are very pleased that all 11 attendees passed with flying colours , certificates to follow.

Many of our businesses locally have staff who are working  alone remotely or in small groups , we often work in areas that are over an hour from the nearest hospital and at times miles from the nearest road. Having practical First Aid skills and the confidence to utilise these in emergency situations is a recurring request that we get from our events and 1-2-1 consultations.

Within our Back Of Beyond Business Support project (BOBBS) , funded by The Princes Countryside Fund (PCF) we work hard to support businesses, individuals, enterprise and our wider community offering a range of support including courses, events, workshops and individual support.
